About Us Calgary Catholic

Calgary Catholic Homeschoolers have a long history. In the past we have met at St. Anthony's, St. Gerards, Sacred Heart, St. Albert the Great, and Holy Spirit parishes, as well as at some of our homes. We have varied our activities over the years to meet the needs of our members. Our purpose is to provide support for Catholic home schooling parents in sharing our exciting and living faith with our children. We meet as a group once per month, and our meetings are usually scheduled around a feast or saint's day. We try to combine education about the faith with fellowship and prayer together. These events are organized by volunteer parents and all are invited to become involved in planning or helping with at least one meeting. If you are interested in knowing more about our activities, please join our Yahoo group. To join, please go to our Yahoo Group page, to find out how to join us. There is no charge to join the group, but some of our activities will involve a fee to cover expenses. Parents are responsible for their own children at all times during our activities. In addition to our regular activities, our members organize field trips and sports events that are sent to the group for whoever might be interested. God Bless You! |
